Pickled Okra
small Okra, fresh 1 c White Vinegar 1/4 c Water 2 tsp. Salt 1 tsp. Dill Seed 1 tsp. Celery Seed 2 cloves Garlic 1 tsp. Mustard Seed 1 hot, Green or Red Pepper |
Wash okra, and pack lengthwise tightly in a pint sterilized jar. Bring to a boil vinegar, water, and salt. Add all seasonings to okra and cover with hot vinegar mix. Seal. Allow 2-3 weeks to pickle properly. |
